Pizza Hut was founded in 1958 in Wichita, Kansas.

By 1971 Pizza Hut was the number one pizza restaurant chain in the world both in the record number of sales and the number of restaurants. Since then Pizza Hut has grown to more than 16,000 restaurants and 350,000 team members in more than 100 countries.

In 2022, Pizza Hut U.S. has partnered with the International Pizza Hut Franchisee Holders Association (IPHFHA), to provide scholarships for students and mentoring opportunities for young people.

As the Pizza Hut Foundation grows, so will our commitment to empowering young leaders. We will accomplish this goal by providing scholarships for students, and opportunities for young leaders to learn from a variety of successful professionals.
